Bílý Kříž

Famous recreation area in the Zapadni hory mountains, named after a white painted folk crucifix. The reason, why it has been placed here, is not precisely known. According to a legend, it is a grave of some of the border guard which died here as victims of plague. Part of the village lies on Slovak territory. In surroundings there is many of tourist paths and well-drivable winter ridge way.
